This year's Hangover rounded off a solid Christmas period for me, in the end I was clear of the field, in part due to the good pace in the first half. It was a good day for running and after the first few kilometers I gradually started to built up a lead. The hill at 6K is a little tricky for my ageing muscles, and my quads were a little tight up the hill, but after that it's a faster run home, at least it was this year without much wind on the sea front, and I could get moving a bit better. The time was only a few seconds slower than 2005 - I'm happy with that. ... and it was good to catch up with Dave Broadbent from work who has joined Weston and got an entry for London - a real incentive to get to peak fitness.
