I've made it through the two tough sessions this week, and the Inter Counties is beginning to look do-able. It was long evening yesterday, I cycled to Aztec. I completed three miles in around 5 mins (with a fourth in 5.15) and then cycled home, by which time it was 9.00pm. The session - and getting to and it and back, went much better than I hoped for, which helped me feel a bit better this morning.
Today was another lunchtime circuit, I'm slowly getting better at surviving circuits. There was a worrying bit half way through when the PTI asked whether the weight were OK - I'm sure he meant could people comfortably lift them - and the service boys started adding more!
..so I'm back into the bad old routine of always preparing for the next race now, as the Inter Counties looms up on Saturday ... then the longer road races begin.
