It would be interesting to know how fast I can run 5K, and there is a Bridge Inn race tonight, but I'm still feeling the affects from Saturday's race, and Sunday's 15 miles.
I woke up very early on Sunday morning, a very strange side effect of the race, I thought 15 was a more sensible idea than 20, and I didn't really ever get going during any of the 15 miles. On Monday (yesterday) I ran for 45 mins, again never really in top gear, so I've decided it would be a Bridge too far. Sian is going to run, so I'll settle for running up the cycle path and not much else.
Our numbers have arrived for the Longleat 10K on Sunday, with a leaflet of great sounding races trips that Mike Gratton arranges. I'm trying hard to ignore the marathons, but they seem such a good idea, there will just about be time after London to get my speed back by my 45th birthday, but an autumn marathon just wouldn't fit in. ...my idea is the Phila Half, the week after Bristol, ...not sure how that would work out.
