A little relief arrived today in the form of a massage machine, it's called a percussion massager, which I always thought meant drums and stuff in an orchestra, it does have a type of drumming action. Sian's mum has got one, and we used it a lot between our two races on 31 December and 1 January.

I almost didn't pick it up from the Post Office as the batteries for my bike light completely ran out, I'm not sure whether that was because the switch can easily get pushed on, or the N type battery dies suddenly. It's a great tiny light, but it's very disconcerting when you start home from the office and the thing has completely stopped working! Perhaps I should write to wiggle and Catseye to complain, I'll probably just keep some spare batteries in my bag.

Circuits weren't too bad today and I managed another six miles this evening, as I've got a long day at work tomorrow and won't be able to fit any training in.
