Sian's gradually recovering from the bug, and I'm worried I'm getting it as I have some tiredness in my legs. It was Abbey Wood circuits at lunchtime, which is easier to survive when you're not feeling 100%, as it doesn't put to much stress on the endurance parts of the body. I think circuits are helping me run faster, they are certainly improving my conditioning.
Last night I managed two laps of Eastville Park.Dogs were getting in my way, the wind was blowing and there were broken branches on the path - so all in all it's difficult running that lap in the dark. I guess the dog owners feel safer in the dark with their dogs, in general they don't feel keep them on a lead, which doesn't really impress me.
After two laps I gave up, and managed to fit in a shorter effort along the side of the cemetry on the way home, perhaps that was a bit faster and why my legs are feeling strained.
