Tomorrow is the day of the County Champs and Blaise Gwent. I suspect there will be a strong field, the Gwents in Bristol usually are, as are the races before Christmas. There's no point in worrying, we'll just have to see who survives the parking restrictions and makes the starting line.
It will be time for a rest from competition on Saturday night, the trip to Leeds was great, but I've been racing for five weeks now and it's time for rest, and possibly longer runs if we're going to do London. This may well mean that I record the slowest ever time in the Downs handicap and yet again struggle at Clevedon, but that can't be helped.
