The results from Leeds are available now, and although I clocked 31.40, my chip time was 31.37. Strictly speaking I equalled my fastest time away from the Team Bath 10K, but I think a 3 sec faster chip time is good enough for me. I'm also fairly sure that it was the Rod Finch in 21st place, who's not an M45 - either way at least the results agree that I was the first M40.

Whatever the fine details of the timing are, I'm feeling much more positive about running at the moment, and so we're missing the Bridge tonight and training with Mike. True the legs are still tired, but at least there's some more enthusiasm in the tank.

...and even my battle to improve my "flickr badge", that's the column on the right hand side of the blog with a bunch of random photos, is looking up. I think the photos are too random, so I'm trying to get a bit more historical order to them, but it's taken a long time to work out a way forward!! (I've still got to write the code.)
