I made it to Abbey Wood circuits for the first time in four weeks today - so I'm hoping I don't feel too stiff tomorrow!!
Tuesday evening was a more serious athletic pursuit, road miles at Aztec West, Mike had got the time differences worked out pretty well, Rob, Jon, myself and Dan N. managed four laps on a cold and blustry night. I completed the first one in around 4.55, but slowed down after that - but I think that's OK at my current state of fitness as I'm still lacking speed.
The Easyjet sale ended last night, so I booked our flight to warm weather training in Vilamora. This rules us out of the English National Cross Country in Sunderland, Sian wasn't keen on doing many cross country races this season anyway - she's not that keen on anything English, but thankfully for the Masters Cross Country team it would be too much effort to find her father's birth certificate, and you have to pay both the senior and masters Welsh affiliation fees just to run the one race each year.
...returning to Stellios' airline, the price today is £240 for two tickets that cost £220 yesterday, I make that approximately a 10% reduction, not the advertised 40% - now let me see, what's the address of Advertising Standards...
