I've managed to get some sort of stomach bug, so I'm not doing much again, which could be a good thing as it's still less than a fortnight since Cardiff, or could be a good indication that I'm just being lazy. I'm convinced that standing around in the damp and cold at training sessions is worse than running, so at least I've got an incentive to start getting it together. Mike and Keith had assembled a small army of runners last night, Craig, John W, Tom, Rich Williams were all there just behind Rob.
After much worrying I made it to circuits today - and managed to stay in the sports hall without dashing out for the gents half waythrough the circuit, and indeed I feel much better afterwards. Unfortunately I felt obliged to enter the Abbey Wood Annual Run, which takes place next Wednesday, only hours after the Bridge Inn 5K. I tried to claim that I didn't have the qualifying time as I haven't done a four mile race this year, but PTIs and excuses are mutually exclusive.
Meanwhile I've downloaded Internet Explorer 7, I'm sure all the phising and malicious softwrae stuff is great, but "tabs" looks set to become the next cool word over the coming weeks.
