I've got over the initial fews days of extreme immobility now, but recovering from a marathon is like nothing I've known. I still can't move smoothly and although I can now go for an easy run (a step up from jogging) I can't really push on as usual.
I'm still thinking about fitting in another marathon in December, but can't really see a suitable one. I don't think I would be able to run any quicker at Luton, and travel to the others is tricky.
It was Frank's birthday today, and so we went to Pizza Hut (or Pizza something). I can see how it's easy to lapse into a sedentary fast food over-weight life style. I'm even more convinced that lifestyle and exercise is the only real answer. I guess we could evolve into sedentary beings, but there's more than the laws of economics in life, and for some quaint reason I think humans should take a bit of exercise and keep visits to Pizza restaurants for special occasions.
..and finally there's a photo of Lindy in AW this week, we should send a copy to Rob and Suzanne in Chamonix, I doubt whether copies of AW reach that far into France.
